Aims
SPIN's members are single parents who have sole or joint care of their children Founded in 2005 as a constituted voluntary organisation (unincorporated association) SPIN is volunteer-run and free to join 73% of our members find out about us through word-of-mouth recommendations&
- SPIN aims to provide information proactively to single-parent families in Brighton & Hove & the surrounding areas of Sussex via our private Facebook group HERE
- SPIN aims to improve the well-being of emotional and financial wellbeing of single parents. This is done through informing the members of low cost and free activities, events, training, goods, donations, free & discounted tickets, individual funding and project opportunities
- SPIN aims to improve fairness for single-parent families who do not receive financial support from the other partner and are bringing up the family on one income
- Our vision is to improve the quality of life of the single parent families, reduce isolation and help them be part of their local community
